Presentation is the art of combining hair, make-up, clothing, accessories, poise, deportment and manner in such a way as to offer your most powerful image.
If you watch movies made between 1937-1963 you can see that almost every woman on screen was expertly presented.
Just watch The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1947), Blithe Spirit (1945), The Big Sleep (1946), Breakfast at Tiffanies (1961), any Hitchcock movie, Monroe film, Cary Grant, Hepburn, Grace Kelly… (you choose).
For example in the original version of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty there is not a single actress on screen who is not strong willed, potent, impeccably presented, stylish and holding her own in a world of men.
Even the street scenes are a delight; every woman is beautifully dressed without any apparent attempt to catch the eye.
